I've just updated the Mesa Slamoff Page with new information and tickets are
NOW ON SALE for the Mesa National Slamoff, which will be May 4th. Again this
year, we will be at Del Sol Reception Hall.

Tickets for this HUGE event are $7 online in advance and $10 at the door.

Please help us to eliminate the registration fees this year for the poets
that will qualify, by pre-ordering a ticket (or several) online. If we can
have 200 tickets out the door as soon as possible, we'll have enough money
to cover registration for the slam team. Not only will you save 30%, you'll
be helping a great cause.

I'd also like to remind everyone of the Buddy Wakefield / Derrick Brown /
Bill Campana show that is happening April 19th at The Paper Heart. Tickets
for that increadible show are only $5 online at the web site:

Also, there are still 4 Essenzaslams and one Greater Phoenix Slam (double
points) happening between now and May 1st, so if you were thinking of
reading in the slamoff, there is still plenty of opportunity for you to
