Hello to you,
On behalf of the Staff, Volunteers and Board of Anthology, I would
like to wish you and yours a very happy and safe holiday season. We
would also like to thank you for your tremendous support for Anthology
and the programs and events we implemented in 2007. Because you came
out, by the thousands, Anthology was able to have it's most successful
year ever. Anthology hosted over 100 separate events, that's more than
1 event every 4 days.
Because of you, the 2007 Poe Show was the largest one yet, with
tremendously talented and fun performers that have made this
celebration of Poe's birthday the largest west of the Mississippi.
With your support, we sent a talented and tremendous group of poets to
the National Poetry Slam, once again showcasing the talent and poetry
being produced right here in Greater Phoenix.
Your attendance turned our Necromancer Festival into one of the
largest poetry events Arizona has ever seen.
Our Voices of Youth Festival brought not only the largest coordination
of resources EVER for a poetry event, but a lot of teens discovered
the power of poetry to empower their lives.
Anthology sponsored the 2007 Tellebration Festival, our first ever Non-
slam spoken word major event!
This type of impact is only possible when you come out and support,
and we are all greatful that we live in a time and place where we are
free to pursue our artistic endeavors. And we are grateful for the
appreciation that our community has expressed to us in 2007, and we
look forward to continueing to earn your patronage in 2008!
Thank You.
