The Pacific Boychoir Academy is looking for an orchestra to do Haydn
Paukenmesse next season, since we're to perform it with a local orchestra in
South Africa this July. As we are interested in doing it in CA, we are
looking for an orchestra that might be interested in making it a half of one
of their concerts next season. Much of your season may be scheduled already,
but feel free to contact the Pacific Boychoir Academy in case you have half
a concert you are looking to fill with something nobody in America has: a
boys choir, with boy altos, doing a classical mass as they are and were done
in Vienna.
As you may know, we have sung dozens of times with the SF Symphony, and have
also performed with the National Orchestra of Brazil (Mozart Coronation),
the Berkeley Symphony, the Moscow Chamber Orchestra, American Bach Soloists,
the UC Davis and UC Berkeley Orchestras, etc. We'd use a choir of about 60
and I think it would be a real treat for your audience to hear this sound.
Please contact us if you are interested or for any suggestions.
Thank you
