BJ: I don't have Guitar Pro and so when faced with
.gp5 files in the Files - Other member uploads, I
didn't know what to do.

BJ: For anyone in the same situation, TuxGuitar is
available for windows (as well as Linux) under GPL
(basically free software). It handles common formats,
.ptb, import .tef, imports and exports .mid, and
most importantly handles .gp3, .gp4, and .gp5. It also
has its own format, and you can create new files.
