This is a place where people in the greater Baltimore area can post information or get the scoop on drumming events and gatherings - everything from concerts to pick-up drum circles - drumming lessons, or practices.

It's a place to meet link-minded people, talk techniques, swap equipment, and hopefully it's the beginning of a productive, meaningful, on-line "family" for hand drummers in Baltimore.

Although topics of particular interest to the Baltimore Area drumming community is our primary focus here, discussions of general hand drumming interests are encouraged and welcome too.

I love playing my djembe drum - even more so when I'm making noise with cool people. We need more drumming activities here in Baltimore, like the "Park vibes" circle that meets in Druid Hill park during the warm months. Maybe we can do a circle at Herring Run Park or Patterson Park...

In any event, I really hope to meet some of you at a drum circle soon!
