Please support this 'repairations' event - For us repairations means a return back to Afrikan culture for all people of Afrikan descent - even as we recognize that the original Afrikans were Black - Socialism/communism is the true reflection of Afrikan culture in the modern world - The 'New exodus' movement specifically seeks repairations and not necessarily reparations because we recognize that the first act of inhumanity was committed against ourselves long ago and so it is ourselves that we must bring back together under One Earth culture of socialism without boundaries. Music is one of the most powerful agents of socialization. It is a vital aspect of Afrikan culture on which we rely for the cementing of communal bonds and the sanctification of our collective rituals and ceremonies. The back to Afrika music festival, otherwise known as Bamfest or the Pilgrim's Ball is a historic first of its kind event, that will serve as a catalyst for the return home of our brothers and sisters in the Diaspora, if not forever, at least for a while to visit with relatives. The Pilgrim's ball will be an annual event moving around the different parts of the Afrikan continent, hosted by Afrika for people of Afrikan descent. We intend to feature the best of Diasporan music on the continent from Hiphop to Reggae to Blues and Jass music. Volunteer now and make the festival a success, then get paid later as part of the management team from year to year. We need venues, we need Artists, we need resources - One love from the Afrikan Afrikan Alliance.
