On June 2, 2006, the Hampton Grease Band reunited for the first time
in 33 years to perform their legendary 1971 double album, "Music to
Eat." The group included all the original surviving members who played
on the record (Bruce Hampton, Glenn Phillips, Jerry Fields and Mike
Holbrook), along with Bob Elsey (of the Swimming Pool Q's) filling in
for the late Harold Kelling. The show took place at the Variety
Playhouse in Atlanta before a packed house and was professionally
filmed by director Barry Mills and a 5-camera crew. After 2 1/2 years
of editing, Barry has just released the 1 hour and 23 minute DVD, and
it's available for order here.

Hampton Grease Band will always be important for me, as they played
