Hi:

I am a 66 year old, sing lead or tenor (I can do some baritone but no bass at all), and am looking for a Barbershop group in Bowling Green, KY.

I have not sung Barbershop for almost 30 years (and only for a short time then), due to the pressures of work, etc.  I did belong in Santa Barbara, CA in the early 70's, and did some informal Barbershop while stationed at Valley Forge General Hospital in Phoenixville, PA.

 I am now retired, love to sing and would be very much interested in joining a group.  I do some choir singing at my church, have done many musicals on stage with community theater groups (1964-1983), and had my own folk group in Germany, while stationed there with the US Army.

If anyone knows of some Barbershop groups in the Bowling Green area, I would very much like to hear from you.

This is the call for papers for the June 2010 issue of the GUBOQS
Gazette*, an independent pro-quartet publication.  We publish success
stories describing regular quartet encouragement sessions held during
chapter meetings.  We seek creative ideas which influence SPEBSQSA
members to try quartetting.  Authors receive free introductory issues

Do your quartet sessions give every member an opportunity to sing
with three others at every meeting?  Email me a one page article
describing your program.  The target date for your article is two
weeks from today.

This is the call for papers for the September
2010 issue of the GUBOQS Gazette*, an independent
pro-quartet publication.  We publish success
stories describing regular quartet encouragement
sessions held during SPEBSQSA chapter
meetings.  We seek creative ideas to share which
influence members to experience
quartetting.  Authors receive free introductory issues

Do your quartet sessions give every member an
opportunity to sing with three others at every
meeting?  Email me a one page article describing
your program.  The target date for your article is two weeks from today.
