On the topic of funeral music, I would add a somewhat obscure personal
favorite:
Heinichen: Lamentationes Jeremiae prophetae -- Musica Antiqua Koln /
Reinhard Goebel (Archiv 447092-2).
(I've been listening to this several times this week. There's also a
number of other great pieces on this 2CD set. And by the way... if
you don't have MAK's other Heinichen set of "Dresden Concertos", get
it NOW.)
Also, Robert, I surprised to see one item missing on your list was
Mozart's Masonic Funeral Music.
