C'mon everyone I have no clue what to talk about,
but how about a question. What song should RP record,
with our Bear on lead, that they haven't already
done????<br><br>-Sue, trying to strike up some conversation
Love Me Tender has already been done. I "would" be fun to see him perform Teddy
Bear. I think "Are you Lonesome Tonight" would be a good ballad for him too.
Even -- Hey, Mr Bassman -- that would be big for
him and likely scott as well !!!<br><br>but it have
always thought it would be cool to hear that !!!
<br><br>Scott would be official lead but staring barry !!!
<br><br>Have thought of that for a long time
!!!<br><br>kathy<br><br>*who will try to get that pic up for ya !!!*
(I could not find it on my comp so i had to scan
it again -- lol -- proud you picked it for your main
page in his honor !!!) and yes - i did take it myself
-- i have many great pics from Troy !!!
<br><br>Kathy
That's funny - i was actually working up an arangment of Hey Mr. BassMan for us
to sing to him at the convention - if no one else wants to help me I was gunna
do it myself - <br><br>LOL<br><br>Jade
Hey Mr. Bassman, your on all the songs with
a<br>"bu bu bu bu boom boom boom, bu bu bu bu boom boom
bop bop" --- lol <br><br><br>lol
<br><br>Kathy<br>*who used to sing the lead to this song in the car
goin to my grandmother's house - "long ride, looong
ride" (sorry webcast glitch - hehe) - and brother sang
bass -- lol -- he still does a great bass too I must
say -- he is great at Karioke (however you spell that
- lol)*
I was just listening to I Know Christmas and when
Barry is humming after the first part I always get
shivers...so here's my question: what are your favorite Barry
moments when he's NOT in the lead? Besides that one, mine
are his "ba dum ba dum"'s in When You Came and of
course his "Blah Blah." And there are probably others.
So how about the rest of you?

It has to be in Use Me, when Bear sings, and
Scott pretends its him, and they do that little
'we-kick-butt' think afterwards. You know what I'm talking
about.... 12.5 hours till they're on TV, 23 hours till I
see them in concert...<br><br>-Sue
Hi all-<br><br>Just wanted to agree with Laura on
her post in the Rockapella club with Barry's voice
being a great foot massager during sixteen tons. It
really works!!! I tried it tonight..wow! I could sit
there with the song on repeat.<br><br>*sigh*<br>Just
wanted to pass that along!<br>Angela
Yeah. We were playing 16 Tons on the way home
from the concert last night. I was in the front and my
two friends in the back. I was enjoying my massage,
then Nicole yells from the back "Can we lower the
bass? My ears are actually pounding with the beat?" It
was interesting. And the other friend I had with me
was Denise, who is now in love with Bear.
<br><br>However, we were totally dissed. He didn't want to stay or
sign anything. We saw him leaving, called to him
(admittidly, we ran after him for a bit), but he obviously
didn't want to stop. (Kathy is part of the 'we', too) So
we decided that we were NOT going to stalk Barry and
we went back. Oh well. Next time - June
2.<br><br>-Sue
Does it have to be in a song?? Cuz my fave Barry
moment is<br><br>Barry: Da ba da da ba da bap - da ba da
ba da ba da *nothing* <br><br>Scott: Hey Barry -
what happend to that last Dabadabap? <br><br>Barry:
It's a no go dabadabap.<br><br>and also<br><br>"Lets
jingle us some bells and spin that dredle 'til it's hot,
and trim that tree with every thing you've
got"<br><br>"Hey son the darn cord don't reach"<br><br>J
I love it when he says "The way you talk you
could be a lawyer....Or maybe a politician....Or I
know, you're a music critic right?"<br>During "Blah,
Blah, Blah". And just thought I'd mention that I like
his natural hair color best. <br><br>Monica
Yeah, the nutso "Use Me" thing is amazing...
*sigh* Also, I like how he and Jeff sing the bass line
together. Other background favorites:<br><br>1) Just You,
Just Me (that solo is hard)<br>2) Hound Dog <br>3)
Papa Oom Mow Mow<br>4) Keep on Smilin', the VP part...
I swear, I can pick him out.<br>5) Pretty
Woman<br>6) Bed of Nails<br>7) Song 9/NYC Summa<br><br>Thanks
for the happy thoughts. *sigh II*<br>Laura<br><Who
couldn't hold out any longer>
I tried the foot massage thing too. My car has an
awesome stereo system, not only did I get a good foot
massage, I got a full body one as well! I bump up my bass
and the whole car vibrates! Nice. ;D<br><br>One fave
Bear moment of mine happened last Spring at the E&G.
It was one of those, "you had to be there" moments,
LOL. We were talking about dating (very briefly), and
he mentioned that he dated this dancer-chick in
college and she was really short, then he looks at me,
lifts his hand to "measure" me and says, "I think she
was about your height." <g> If it was anyone
else who said that, I would've been insulted, but it
was Bear, and I love him, so no offense taken there
;D
At church this weekend, two other gals and I are
doing a trio... it's a REALLY low song called "Hold On
To Love." I'm singing what amounts to bass! Yea! I'm
so proud to be following in the footsteps of the
great one...
Bass is the only official voice part I don't
sing. I have dubbed myself a "spaltor" = soprano, alto,
and tenor. My voice part changes from song to song,
or sometimes even within the song. But, if you count
my being on the lowest part in our All Girl Show
Choir, then I guess I'd be singing bass...
lol<br><br>-Sue
LOL - funny pic !!! <br><br>He really is a BIG
guy - lol - in more ways than one !!!<br><br>Just
remember to scroll down it slowly for full effect
!!!<br><br>This one was from montclair on 3-10
!!<br><br>Kathy<br>*hehe - just could not help myself from sharing this
one - it is what everyone i know has been saying when
they see it -- lol*
Oh......my. What IS goin' on there? I'm
scared...<br><br>In the club picture, is Barry singing "When I was
born, that sun didn't shine"? That's what it looks like
to me, and I was wondering if that's really when it
was taken.<br>Louise
That's usually what he does for the sun didn't
shine part - so I would assume you are right in
thinking that. <br><br>And about that picture. Oh my. :-)
I have some of Kevin to that effect ;-) In leather
even....<br><br>Jennifer
