Personally, I prefere the 'pepper' mix as it often gets called in the UK; also
it has the benefit of being cheaper!



I'd ask your teacher if you have one or even ask to try out different bows with
different hairs on in a shop. Any self-respecting instrumental shop should be
only too pleased.
