The previous record was actually held by the VM in 1997 when they scored a 2881
(96.03%). So not only did they beat the record for highest score for a second
place chorus tonight, but they also set the record for highest score EVER for
about 90 seconds as well!!! Pretty amazing contest tonight, wasn't it folks?
