Almost every day I hear about things like Post Traumatic Stress
Disorder and ways to help that condition . But I don't hear anyone talking about
Post Competition Euphoric Disorder and how to get to sleep after that .
After that unbelievable CHORUS contest ( which allowed me to go to bed
at about 2:00 AM Eastern time ) , I just lay there as my mind ran in wonderment
about what I had just witnessed . Very quickly , my mind settled on the
unbelievably fantastic and talented people we have in this " hobby " , who give
so much of their time and talent . Think of JIM HENRY who , he says , directed
the AOH to a record point total with 2 songs arranged by DAVID WRIGHT, that he
really didn't want to sing ....Then add in his whole musical team , and
choreography team led by ERIN HOWDEN of SAI fame .
Then think about JIM CLANCY who , it's rumored , has more GOLD than
Fort Knox and his outstanding team led by GREG , then transitioning to JEFF and
of course their dancing partner CINDY HANSEN ...30 years is just an unbelievable
run .
A night to be capped of by a song written ( and arranged, I assume )
for the MOH by the unbelievably talented JAY GIALLAMBARDO ( did I spell that
properly ? ) .
My thoughts just ran on and on and on ,,,,,I don't think even a
Thesaurus could come up with enough words to begin to describe my wanderings as
I tossed and turned ...... Loving every sleepless minute of it .
So many people give so much , that we never even hear about , to this "
hobby " , and I would just like to take this moment to thank them for the "
highs " and even the " lows " ......Someday , hopefully , the WORLD will
discover this pocket of immeasurable talent .
Thanks for listening , now I can hardly wait for the Harmony Foundation
Show .
