Hi Fellow Barbershoppers,
I received this message (below) just now from songwriter and Chicago News
champion baritone Greg Wright. I shared it with you folks, just in case
you're inclined to check out his song and help his cause with your vote. I
hope you will.
Looking Forward,
k-ray

Ken, I'm working from an old AIC roster so I don't know if this email
address for you is current. I hope it gets to you.
Since I know that you have always had "Pro - singing" leanings, I wanted to
bring you up to speed with what I've also been doing in a professional
direction. While I have been absent from the barbershop scene, for a few
years I have not been inactive in the music business. I have taken up the
guitar and am actively writing country songs. I've written about 20 and
recently had 3 professionally "Demo'd" down in Nashville with various
country vocalists.
Recently, one of my songs ("A Hat Don't Make You a Cowboy") has gotten some
airplay on a Milwaukee country station (WMIL 106.1 FM) that also streams
online. At anytime during the day people can log on to the site and listen
to the new artist/songwriters and cast votes (1 to 5 stars) for their
favorites. Once you click on the song to hear it, a row of stars appears
which you can click on to vote.
Last Sunday week they played it on air. What a blast!! I've been getting
some real positive feedback.
I'm attaching the link for your convenience or the convenience of any of
your other friends, other AIC brothers, or anyone else who you may want to
circulate this to in case they want to go online give it a listen and cast a
vote.

PS. if you have a current contact information roster of our AIC brothers,
I'd appreciate getting a copy. I'd like to update as many of them as
possible.
Thanks
Greg Wright
