I know I keep on mentioning this, but it's really starting to take
off, and I hope some of you will get involved before all initial Cds
are sold out!

Please read what Liz MacDonald has posted?

I just received my copies of the Charity CD.......words escape me
right now...and anyone who knows me knows that is an event in itself!
I have to say....honestly....my daughter and I represent Rick Hardin.
That being said....Pete never knew that when he made the decision
about song selections. I only told Pete that this was an emerging
artist I knew about....and sent him Rick's song. The rest is history.
So...that being said....I am finding words to describe this CD (popped
it on...listening....). I won't go through each song....Beatles
Dream....great song to start off this CD....and the late Mike Gibbins
(Badfinger) song....we all can take that song and own it......perfect
bookends to this creative compilation. Obviously, some sound
issues....I was just kicking back, listening...and then...BAM!....had
to turn down the volume on one of the songs....might remaster a copy
(have some good connections ). I have fallen for Peter Lacey's
voice....very Macca-like.....but, not so engineered....very
natural....heartfelt.
Pete's contribution of 'You My Dear'....well, the story is one that
tugs at your heart....and, I was taken aback at Pete's vocal ability.
Ya did good, my friend. Bet James (Pete's son) heard some good
lullabies.

The artwork is worth the cost of the CD...James Shepard not only
contributes a hella good song...he gives you a Beatles-feel with his
CD sleeve/liner.

I am going to leave this...I'm sending this CD to someone who writes
reviews for a living....we'll be posting the review on my website
www.bestyearsofthebeatles.com and Rick's new website (almost done)
www.rickhardinmusic.com
...and....first and foremost...on BeatlesandBeyond....who made all of
this possible.

NOW...it's up to you to purchase this CD....ya'll trust Pete....trust
that he is giving you some awesome music...let's support these artists
who have donated their music....the one thing that brought all of us
here in the first place. Get the word out about this CD....send out a
note to all of the people on your e-mail list. Adopt a Minefield is a
Macca charity...Diabetes UK is EVERYBODY'S charity (and I mean
that....what we do for any diabetes charity...we do for every diabetes
charity in the WORLD). Let's make this happen....get the word
out....BeatlesandBeyond Charity CD.... (if you need help in promoting,
contact Pete...he'll help you out).
Thank you to all of the artists who contributed their songs....YOU
made this Charity CD a reality.
Cheers!

Liz MacDonald
