Hi, just letting you know that the Hull University "Fight Against
Prejudice" society are putting on 2 benefit gigs in Hull. They are
both primarily in aid of the Anti-Nazi League, but depending on the
turnout there might be some donated to other local charities.
The details are as follows:
Tuesday 23rd April, The Adelphi, De Grey Street, Hull.
"Ten Men" - great indie-rock band, comprised of students.
"Skinny Rabbit" - local 70s influenced indie band.
"Ark" - another great local band
Also a speaker from the Anti-Nazi League.
Admission - £3. All who come are entered into prize raffle.
Tuesday 7th May, The Adelphi, De Grey Street, Hull.
"Freaks Union" - well-established local punk band, championed by the
music press.
"Dead Method" - rising local metal outfit.
"Tonik" - excellent local heavy rock band.
Admission - £3.
Please try to come along, and bring your friends - it's a worthy
cause and a great chance to check out some local talent.
