The greatest Bartopk's work ... or works ?

The first I'd like to suggest is the "Music for strings, percussion and
celesta". The
first movement is eally one of the most beaufitul fugue I know (as great as
Bach's or
Beethoven's fuges, isn't it ?). The third movement is a "festival" of delightful
and
enchanting sounds. And the the fourth mvt is so enthusiasming !

As greatest of the strings quartets, the fifth is often cited. What not !

His opera is really one of the best opera of all music history.

But don't forget the sonata for two pianos and percussion !
And waht about is piano works :
- Allegro barbaro,
- "Out of door" suite,
- The suite op. 14
- The sonata
- Mikrokosmos ...

But, personally (and I'm sorry of this), I'm not in love with the cocnerto for
orchestra !
This work is very attractive and made with a lot of art by BB. But there is, in
my
opinion, something which is missing in this music, some sincere inspiration.

I've always believed that the more accessible pieces were Bartok's least favorite, a dilution of his real style....
