Re last call with parson daily   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #599 of 881 |
Hello everyone,

I am sure that Bela Bartok is turning over in his
grave right now if he is able to read the last message
posted to the group. Bela Bartok followed the
Unitarian Beliefs throughout most of his life. His
belief was that God is One and that Jesus Christ was a
historical figure. The writer of this last message
follows Trinitarian Beliefs which is the the opposite
to Unitarian Beliefs.

Bartok was a lover of nature and often incorporated
bird songs and insect sounds in many of his works.
Bartok had a great respect for nature and creation. If
you visit the following sites you will find that
Bartok has a different outlook on life than that of
our writer. http://www.muzsikas.hu/index2.htm This
shows Bartok love of folk music in the country side
and
http://www.uua.org/uuhs/duub/articles/belabartok.html
This is Bartok's biography on the
Unitarian/Universalist Site. I follow a similar
philosphy of life to Bela Bartok and I feel sorry for
our fundamentalist christian writer who appears fixed
on his/her beliefs.

I suggest that he/she does research about a site
before posting his/her views on a particular site. I
further suggest that he/she goes to appropriate sites
and chatrooms on the net to preach his/her beliefs.
Bela Bartok wants to be left in peace with nature. I
know that I do not speak for everyone on the list, but
seeing that our christian friend posted his/her
beliefs on our discussion list I had to counter with
information about Bela Bartok's religious and
philosphical outlook on life.

Have a Merry Christmas and a Peaceful, Happy and
Prosperous New Year. Also Happy Chanukah to our Jewish
friends.
