Hello Everyone,

Happy New Year and may the peoples caught up in the
disaster in South East Asia recover, rebuild and
prosper.

Please Areyouinchrist, do not publish any more gloom
and doom messages from the bible. You are not being
very helpful at all. The disaster happened as a force
of nature not as a result of God's making. Every night
when I watch the news in Australia I am in tears but
there also have been happy stories of people finding
each other and people especially children surviving. I
would suggest that Areyouinchrist should donate to one
of the aid agencies instead of writing doom and gloom
messages which are not appropriate to the subject of
our site ie Bela Bartok and allied musical subjects.
You would be better contributing to the Refined
Athetists and Agnostics Site at NINEMSN. I am sure the
moderator will welcome you with open arms.

Anyway, Areyouinchrist, you have reminded me that I
had to post a message to the list. On New Years Day,
my request for Bartok's Viola Concerto will be played
on Australia's ABC Classical FM Station between 10am
and 12 noon, Australian Eastern Daylight Saving Time,
11 hours ahead of GMT. Unfortunately, this radio
station does not play all its programs over the
Internet, the request program is one of those
programs.

Any way I will give you a report about which version
they play and if there are any comments about the
background to the work.

Once again, have a Happy and Prosperous New Year. 2005
will be the 60th Anniversary of Bartok's Death on 26th
September.
