Yes, these are great recordings, "must haves" for all
Bartok fans. Those of us in the Chicago area who got
to hear Pollini play these works in concert with the
Chicago Symphony around the time the recordings were
made will never forget those concerts.

I am admittedly ignorant as to Pollini's concerti recordings; his solo efforts leave me enormously impressed, but often not emotionally connected, obviously...
