Hello everyone,

Unfortunately, I have been forced into the position to make the
following changes to group membership.

Due to many requests for membership from people who then send spam
emails which fortunately do not reach the general membership due to
good management, I have been forced to approve all future membership to
the group. I do not wish to do such a thing but too many people are
joining who are not at all interested in Bela Bartok and his music and
only wish to use the list to send rubbish to us. I will also change the
message on the group page to say that all memberships will be in future
be approved by the moderator. New members will have to give a good
reason for joining our group. If no reasons are given and/or the email
address looks dodgy I will not let them in.

Also if you know of anyone who would like to join our group please send
their details to my private email address at cglee38@... and
I will invite them to the group.

There is not much Bartok activity at the moment. However, I did go to a
most delightful concert at my church two weeks ago where the Sydney
String Quartet played a program of Schbert and Beethoven. The concert
was very well attended and there were a lot of young people in the
audience.
