You're spot on about The Shins gig; it just left me a bit cold. I didn't expect
pyrotechnics or some crazy light show but one of things you want from a gig is
the band to bring you in and get you involved and it just didn't happen. Look I
went to The Cure gig yesterday (a really last minute thing) and it was a total
contrast. Granted my nostalgia chip probably kicked in, but I left the gig with
a massive smile on my face after a fun night, and in the end you should be
enjoying yourself at a gig, no matter the band.

As for the Beckham circus act, I wouldn't miss an opportunity to sing 90 minutes
of; "Posh Spice is a slapper..." ;-)

That's sad I saw them at the Corner the year they did The Falls Festival and they were awesome. But I'll admit that I haven't even bought the latest album...
