Hello again,

I just wanted to remind folks about a couple of gigs
I have coming up in the next couple of weekends, and
to let you know about an Emilie Aronson gig in Van
Alstyne on the 13th. Those of you who know Emilie
know it is a pleasure to catch her when you can, and
she will be performing at 7:30 (opener TBA) at The
Barnyard Coffeehouse in Van Alstyne May 13 (saturday),
which is a new venue dedicated to acoustic music. All
you really have to do is make your way to Van Alstyne
(north of McKinney) and get downtown... the address is
109 Main St. and it's a neat little coffeehouse with
nice folks running it!

I will be running around the Cottonwood Festival in
Cottonwood Park in Richardson this weekend, taking
pictures and singing background harmonies every once
in a while, then Saturday night, I will be sharing a
gig with another performer (TBA) at Cafe Brazil on
Central near Mockingbird. This will start at 9:00 PM
till midnight and I'd love to see some of you out there!

Then, next weekend (the 13th) I will be playing a
Pre-Kerrville party at my friend Jim McCranie's house,
where it will be pot luck and music all day long... I go
on at 3:00 and play to 5:00, followed by Gypsy Blue
(Amy Johnson and Ginger Leigh) at 6:00, then a circle.
If you would like to attend this Kerrville warmup, let
me know by email and I'll send you directions (don't
worry, Jim, I will make sure everone is taken care of).

Then it's on to the Rose Garden Coffeehouse in MA for
the contest on the 20th, then the 25th I will be
playing a song at Ballad Tree up on the hill in
Kerrville for my regional songwriting award! I play
at Bill Ward's Ballad Tree at 3:00 PM that afternoon...
come on down to the hill country! See you all at
Kerrville (those who go for that festival)!

Hope this wasn't too long, but lots of cool things are
