Hey all,

I just wanted to give you a heads up on a gig I'm doing
this Saturday night (Sept 28), a writer's in the round with
my friends Eric Folkerth and Tracie Merchant at a place
called "Margaret's Salon" at 5828 Worth St, Dallas, TX...
we will be playing from 8 to 10 PM, and the cover is $10,
$7 for students (214-335-6951).

Then next month, I am scheduled on October 13 (Sunday) at
the Beanstock Festival (North Texas' answer to Woodstock!)
in Tom Bean, TX (north near Van Alstine)... more info at
http://www.beanstock.org/ this 2 day festival will feature
me, Max Stalling, Phil Pritchett, Chris Miller, Tracie
Merchant, E-Flat Porch Band, Chip & Jonna Woodburn, New
Hokum Boys, Jack Hardesty & the MJM Trio, Bob Ludwig, Bill
Kisinger and many more to be announced! It's a good time
and a fine group of peole to play for, and maybe someday we
might see this festival grow to Kerrville size!!

As for "Carpe Piscum - Seize the Fish", I am again
tentatively announcing the release date in February 2003,
barring any more unforseen physical setbacks for me and
this body of mine... for those unaware, the last year has
been the most difficult year for me and my multiple
sclerosis, as I have had a few emergency room visits and
now use a scooter at work, which hopefully will help me
with my energy level and allow me to finish this recording
project! For those who already bought the CD, they will
be in your mailbox first thing I finish with it!! :)
