Hey all,

Sorry for the late, late notice, but I forgot to mailout
before now... I'm opening tonight at Uncle Calvin's
Coffeehouse at 8 PM tonight (doors open at 7:30 PM) for my
old friend Emilie Aronson, and it's going to be a fun time!

Friday, August 5: Emilie Aronson ($12)

Our most featured local performer is a perennial favorite who reminds us of the
depth and breadth of original folk music. A winner of the prestigious Kerrville
Folk Festival's New Folk Competition, Emilie's modern folk songs have flavors of
blues, bluegrass and rock. But be warned: she's wicked with puns and they often
find their way into her humorous tunes! There is also a lot of compassion and
insight to be found in her original songs, which she performs in a clear and
confident voice accompanied by deft guitar playing. Emilie's memorable concerts
are exciting, engaging and uplifting and we guarantee you'll be singing along,
