Hey everybody!

This is the big weekend of the Beanstock Festival in Tom Bean, TX, and I'd sure
like to see some of you out there! As most of you know, I don't do too many
gigs anymore since I've retired, so what a treat when Dan Magers of this
festival asked me to play, and also for him to dedicate any extra proceeds to MS
charities... I love these north Texas folks, they make my heart sing!!

The best place to find out directions is to go to their website... it's a pretty
easy out-of-the-way-place to find! Here is the press release about the festival:

------------------

April 7-9th

(Tom Bean, TX) The spring Beanstock Music Festival is scheduled for April 7-9th
2006 at Coyote Ridge Ranch, Tom Bean, Texas. Beanstock offers a taste of local
and national talent with the proceeds this spring assisting Multiple Sclerosis
charities.

Beanstock is a showcase for independent artists held at the beautiful rolling
hills of Coyote Ridge Ranch just one hour north of Dallas. Over a dozen
performing artists and bands will be at this event. Arts and crafts booths as
well as food concessions are offered. Camping is available for those
wishing to experience the entire weekend. The evenings campfire sessions in the
wooded hills are a spiritual retreat from today's busy lifestyle. A quiet
camping area is available for those wishing to enjoy nature, peace and solitude.
Things to Remember if you're camping:

- Camp in designated areas
- Do not leave campfires unattended
- Respect nature... please leave the grounds cleaner than you found them
- No Pets/Fire Arms

- No glass containers
- No Generators please!
- No cell phones in stage area during performances

Tickets are Available at the Gate, $20/day, under 12 Free, with proceeds
benefiting charity.

In the past, proceeds from prior Beanstock events have assisted the American Red
Cross, The Children's Hopechest, The Dallas Genesis Women's shelter and others.
This spring Beanstock will be assisting Multiple Sclerosis charities on behalf
of Bill Nash, a local singer/songwriter who suffers from MS.

Coyote Ridge Ranch opens Friday April 7th at 3PM, music on stage begins at 7PM
until 11.

Sat morning backstage there will be a "House Concert Clinic" class free to those
who sign up. David Byboth will teach you how to host your own successful
intimate listening venue. Beanstock will provide contact info for all the
artists. Don't miss out on this class!

I think of it often." said Tom Geddie, Buddy Magazine

I know there is a lot going on almost every weekend, and this festival is a
little out of the way, but it's a beautiful area, nice stage with incredible
sound, and a feel like the early Kerrville festivals... not crowded, plenty of
great music, and a real nice way to spend a weekend! Hope to see you there...
:)
