Hey Everybody!
I've got some gigs in the next few weeks and I'd love to see you out
there if you get the chance.
March 9 - Thursday - I'm helping an Uncle Calvin's supporter from up in Van
Alstyne get a new open mic started at a place called The Barnyard
Coffeehouse,
which is located at 109 NW Main St in this quaint little town, north of
McKinney.
I've also gotten a confirmation that Emilie Aronson is going to come up with
me,
so this will certainly be a great night! I know it's a drive from Dallas,
but if you're
up north, come on out and listen to some music and have some coffee in Van
Alstyne!!
from 7:00 to 11:00 PM, come on up and bring an instrument and join us.

March 14 - Tuesday - For you folks up in the Denton area, I will be appearing
at
Dan's Bar just off of the main square (near the NW corner) in Denton on Elm
Street. I got to play here a little over a year ago in a songwriter's night,
and I
will be sharing this show with Colin Boyd and a songwriter to be named... a
neat
bar with a great listening crowd for these songwriter nights, it's a joy to
play up
in Denton!
from 9:00 to 11:00 +, I believe the doors open about 8:30 PM.
----------------------------
I also just confirmed a couple of gigs at Cafe Brazil off of University in
Dallas, for
April 29 and May 6, and I'll have more details on these as they get closer.
Also, you can almost always find me at Picasso's Restaurant, the 2nd and 4th
Tuesdays (obviously, I will miss the one on the 14th, in Denton) of each month
at Jammin' At Jimmies, hosted by Jim Foster and Ginger Leigh... Picasso's is
at 11300 Audelia Rd, just north of LBJ freeway, and the jam is from 7:30 to
10:00
PM, and by the way, Picasso's has some fantastic Italian cuisine!
And finally, you can also almost always catch me at our Dallas songwriter's
workshops, which meet next at 1:30 PM, Sunday, March 19 at Starbuck's on
Greenville Avenue just south of Mockingbird. Come out and bring a song for us
to talk about or just come out to listen, the conversations are always great
fun
and the songs are excellent!
Hope to see you out at one of these gigs, or a gig in the future... support
your
local musicians!!
Bill
