Greetings from Flip City!

We've got updates about the Nelsonica '02 festival being held in
Spetember, and the rumor of a similar event to be held in the US.

ITEM #1) Nelsonica '02. Alan Myers, of the 'Rooms with Brittle
Views' web site has asked me to post the following statement. It
deals with the fan fest being held later this year:

"The Nelsonica '02 team are busy finding a venue for the event. In
order to assist us with the choice, we would really like to know how
many people are intending to attend. I have created a poll in the
Polling Booth here at RWBV and would appreciate it if you would
participate and indicate if you intend to try and get along. That way,
we can choose the correct size venue in order to accommodate everyone.
We are planning the event (depending on venue availability) for some
time in September, but it may be moved around slightly. I'll let
everyone know as soon as possible. Bill has already confirmed that he
will be playing a live set. There's also lots of other treats planned,
including a free CD and the possibility of the concert being recorded
for release as a 'live' album."


ITEM #2) Possible US fan fest. The operative word here is
'possible'. i've discussed the matter with Bill and Richard Chadwick,
while both are open to the proposition time has become a limiting
(cancelling?) factor. My own work schedule does not leave me enough
time to get things working. On top of that, Bill has the Stewart
Adamson concert coming up, plus his other musical and video ventures
to take up his time. i have not shelved the idea completely, but am
now starting to plan this for next year (2003). i'll advise y'all
when i get more concrete information.
