First, the Northern Dreamer discussion page has moved to a new
locale. As i understand the new system will be moderated, and all
users need to register. Stop that complaining you folks in the
back! We all know that some people have been using clever (and not-
so-clever) handles to spount crap and waste bandwidth. i applaud
Alan's work to keep the discussion board active. There are two ways
to see the site, with sidebar graphics and without sidebar graphics.
Links to both can be found here:

Here is another comment from Alan:
1c. News - A Challenge from Bill

Bill has come up with an idea for a bit of a 'project' for one or
more of you fans out there. That is, to catalogue each of his songs
individually in a database. This would have information such as
year, band, album it was from, producer, media (cd/vinyl/mc etc)
catalogue number, record label. This can then be searched and
filtered etc. Probably the best way to tackle this would be through
a Microsoft access database or some other ODBC standard database
structure. If you are willing and able to give this a go, please
get in touch with me so we can start the ball rolling.

i would like to throw in my own two cents worth: The Permanent Flame
discography has the most extensive listing of Bill's music available. (Outside
of Nelson Acres, of course.) However, its not in a format that easily can
ported into Access or the like. But the work is MOSTLY done. If you are
looking to work on this project, please, please, please contact Alan.(Address
below.) i'll gladly provide the html files with the data if you want to use it
as a base. Just strip the html out and you're on your way.
