Greetings to one and all from Tranquility Base.


As you read in last week's diary entry Bill would like to play with
The Lost Satellites at Nelsonica 03 next month. Additionally, if
they show up the drummer will be none other than Nick Dew, whose name
you'll recognize from the first Be Bop Deluxe line-up.

People have asked me how good of a chance is it that The Lost
Satellites will be playing. i can't say for sure. But i can say
that Bill makes a statement in his latest diary entry that leads me
to think its a pretty good possibility. So you'll just have to go

But you claim you can't make it both days and don't want to pay for
an event in which you're not going to participate. Well, Mr. Alan
Myers has a word to share with you about that:

As you know, Honeytone Cody are playing at the Nelsonica 03
convention on the 19th September. The band are, of course,
very popular and have their own set of fans as well as those
interested in the work of Bill. Because of the popularity of
HTC and to give their fans a chance to see them perform, I
have reserved some spaces on the 19th specially for the HTC
contingent. These attendees will only be staying for the HTC
concert itself and will not be attending on the Saturday nor
will they be receiving a copy of Luxury Lodge.

As a consequence, I am able to offer a very limited number of
day tickets for the Saturday only. The ticket price is set
at £50. This will entitle the attendee to a copy of the album
Luxury Lodge as well as a full day's attendance at the
convention. I am not able to offer the Pay Pal facility for
this option at the moment but if people do wish to attend on
the Saturday only and wish to pay by PayPal, please write to
caretaker@... and I'll try and sort something
out as soon as possible. Details of how to book your day
ticket are written below.
