Just a quick note to let you know that the server came back up and i
was able to update the Be Bop Deluxe discography section with as
much information about "Postcards from the Future" that i have. That
includes track listings, Label and Catalogue number, and a link to
Amazon.co.uk to order the disc.
Also, according to the Amazon.co.uk web site, the following CD's will
also be re-re-re-re-re-re-released September 20th:
Axe Victim
Futurama
Modern Music
Drastic Plastic
and
Postcards from the Future
Where is Sunburst Finish?, you all ask. Well, it's listed as Currently
Available (!), and EMI is not planning to re-re-re-re-re-release it. i've got
20 quid that they screwed up and will issue a belated mea culpa.
Any takers? ;-)

And an apology to the fans who've been wondering if there would be a
show in Scotland this tour. i missed the email that told me about

The Discography section will be updated with information about the
new Be Bop Deluxe compendium albu, "Postcards from the Future." It
contains all of your old favorites plus two gems: "Teenage Archangel"
and a different mix of "Jets at Dawn" . These two songs are on the
first-ever recording by Be Bop Deluxe (LAFS001 A/B) and have never
before been available on CD. The pages have not been updated yet due
to a server problem. Check back on Tuesday morning and they should
be up there for you. "Postcards from the Future" is now available
for pre-order through Amazon.co.uk. A link to that web page will be
on the discography section.

Two items of note to bring up today. First out the gate i want to
thank Dave Tranter for forwarding to me this information. There is a
rumor floating around that The Lost Satellites are booked into playing
at the Robin 2 in Bilston, Woverhampton. i'm happy to say that the
rumour is true! Bill Nelson and the Lost Satellites WILL be playing
there on October 9th! An official announcement with all The Tour
dates and venues will not be made until all shows re confirmed. The
folks at The Robin jumped the gun. The Live! section has been
updated with this information, and a link to The Robin's web site. Link

Second matter is more personal. <caps on for emphasis> PLEASE
DON'T SEND ME ANY ATTACHMENTS WITHOUT NOTIFYING ME IN

much of the stuff comes with infected attachments that i've set my
filter up to reject ALL emails with attachments. If you have something

how to send me the attachment later.
Well, that's all for now. i guess some of us are going to pull out our

such as i, just have to wait. But it won't be long now.

Greetings to one and all from Tranquillity Base!
i'll bet y'all didn't expect to hear from me again so soon! Well, it
appears Bill has some more information he wants to share with us,
and who am i to complain?
First up, we have another new diary entry. This is a brief entry, but
just jam-packed with information. A couple of the issues he
brings up are the track listing for 'Dreamland to Starboard' AND the
next album he's already started working on. He also talks about
the upcoming Lost Satellites tour this fall and the album he's
working on for that. But wait, there's more....
Link here:
http://www.billnelson.com/diary.htm
Second item, based on comments from a couple of fans i have
attempted to reduce the size of the active diary page. i've
removed all but the five most recent entries, the images
have all been shrunk and heavily compressed. This is to allow
people with slower connections (either dial-up or via handhelds
and phones) to skip the overhead when there's an 80K image.
All images on the diary page link to a large, high quality image.
Please let me know if this works for you.
