The lineup for the annual Coachella Valley Music Festival, or
Coachella for short, has been leaked. The two-day festival, taking
place April 29-30 in Indio, California, will apparently feature
Depeche Mode headlining the first night, and a reunited Smashing
Pumpkins the second. The Pumpkins reunion is not a huge surprise, as
frontman Billy Corgan took out a full-page ad in the Chicago Tribune
last June stating he wanted to reform the group.

Other bands confirmed for the first day include the Strokes,
Portishead, Massive Attack, Doves, the Shins, Sleater-Kinney,
Dangerdoom, Silver Jews, the Go! Team, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, the
Walkmen, Maximo Park, Wolf Parade, Rogue Wave, the Coral and more.

The second day features such acts as Gorillaz, Sigur Ros, the White
Stripes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Mogwai, the Secret Machines, the New
Pornographers, Sufjan Stevens, Matisyahu, Animal Collective,
Explosions In The Sky, Devendra Banhart, Mates Of State, Elefant, We
Are Scientists, Liars and more.
