I have been lucky enough to attend many of the shows since they
started touring again last year. Although I've seen many of their
recent albums at the concessions tables, including Don's, I can't
ever recall seeing the self-titled debut or the "Umbrella" albums
there - I may well be wrong about this though. I was very thankful to
see the limited edition "Birds..." CD that they are currently
offering on the website. Since I don't buy online, I was quite
overjoyed when I saw it up for sale at a recent show. Now if only
they'll do the same with the "One For Sorrow..." single when they
start touring again - bit of a stretch, though, since it is a U.K.
release ( go here - http://www.agendamusic.com/ )
Since I'm a newer fan of the group, I've tended to like their more
recent material. Though I do have their first two albums, they really
do not appeal to me as much as "Glow" and all they've done since. I
do have to say, however, that I was lucky enough to catch
an 'updated' version of "Wonder of Birds" at the Christmas Show in
NYC and was blown away! It actually made me go back to the first
album and give it another listen! But, as Keith said, performing some
of the older songs would have to be fun for them - wouldn't want the
band to play them grudgingly.
