Hi,
I'll try to help, first you have to join and become a member of the group. Then log into the group, then log onto bix and go to the contest and record. I don't know if you can create a practice entry and then enter it into the contest. I had the same problem as you even after I joined the group but once I logged into the group I was allowed to record and enter the contest.

Hey how about this for a twist...

The winner gets a party in their home town at one of the local karaoke hangouts (sponsored by Yahoo and Bix with all of the appropriate marketing paraphenalia of course) and Yahoo/Bix pays to send a record company talent scout (named Tony) to the party to hear the winner and a few of their closest friends sing live. The winner is held up as the star of the show and the one responsible for all the free booze and prizes given out that night (in cooperation with Bix and Yahoo of course.)

Call it the Party in MyTown contest.

Great idea from Jess. You are sooo right. Bixers would love to have equip to improve their experience on Bix. I would like to add the one biggest complaint that people have had on Bix is the narrow list of song choices. I don't know that it is in your dept, but we would love bigger variety for our experience. That would help decrease the number of people going to other sites. Of course we all still love our bix!!

Going forward I'm going to approve all new Bix Country members. As you have
