Yes, we made it to Marcon last year and were relatively well received, but this
year their program director was a little stressed and told us that they were
full up with guests/performers and there was no room for us in the schedule.
So, we accepted the invitation back to Con Carolinas instead.
Honestly, if we can work out a deal with a Midwest convention to get some
compensation for rooms and/or travel, we'd be happy to perform in the Midwest.
So far, the furthest west we've been is Columbus, OH. (Furthest North is
Toronto; furthest East, Boston; and furthest south, Atlanta.)
Isabel, if you can recommend a convention or two that you think would be
interested, let us know or put in a good word for us with the ConComm. I can't
guarantee that we'd be able to do it, but we'd definitely look into it.
And Isabel, thank you for going to such effort to make it to our concerts.
That's dedication above and beyond.
