The BluegrassHarp discussion group is a group where harmonica players who like Bluegrass, Country, and Old Time music can discuss tips and techniques used for playing harp in these genres without being overwhelmed by the Blues players. We have members ranging from beginners to pros, and all are welcome. Less experienced players are welcomed by all and are encouraged to post their questions and get advice from the more experienced players.

I guess everyone's experience is different. When I played Hohners exclusively I had boxes of dead ones. Since I switched to Lee Oskars. It takes years for me
Howdy, I have never played one before. It's my experience that there's nothing like a Hohner, Lee Oskar comes close, but a Hohner's reeds sound great and last
I have also used "The Amazing Slow Downer", from http://www.ronimusic.com It worked pretty well. If you are still trying to figure out melodies at full speed,
hola, soy Leo Enry de Chile http://leoenryharmonica.googlepages.com/videotablaturaOrangeBlossomSpecial.wmv Orange Blossom Special with Don John in harmonica
