**Special Note**

As from next week, BluesBeat will be heard locally on 5efm for 1 hour on Wednesday evening from 7pm-8pm SA time. Accordingly the first hour of this program will also be heard next Wednesday in that timeslot. From there on Bluesbeat will be a 1 hour program heard locally on Wednesdays and nationally the following Sunday by participating CRN community radio stations. This has been my choice due to pressure of work committments and the desire to get my Friday nights back after 15 or so years of presenting live radio. BluesBeat will continue in the same format with 1 hour of the latest & best blues music as has always been heard on the national program. As this program will continue to be recorded from my home studio it gives me much more flexibility to produce it.
