The three previously unreleased tracks on the Ode To Bobbie Gentry CD are:-

Skip Along Sam

Show Off

Stormy

Skip Along Sam was written and recorded by Donovan around 1968 and
Stormy was also written and recorded by a U.S. group (whose name I cannot
recall) around the same time.

I believe, therefore, that Bobbie recorded her versions of these songs not
long after, probably late 1968 or early 1969, between the recording of
songs for the Local Gentry album and those for her Touch 'Em With Love
album.

Show Off sounds as if it was recorded around the same time also. There
are no details as to the writer of this song, but I would not be surprised to
find that it was Bobbie herself.
