has anyone ever read where her inspiration came from or even what her
biography reads.
of course there is "ode" but i recently discovered "the girl from
cincinatti"--wow!!!! bobbie was a sneaky one when she wrote and sang.
another one that gets me is "belinda."
i recenly discovered bettye lavette who wrote and did the original "he
made a woman out of me." i think bobbie's album "fancy" is so
overlooked as the historians of music talk about the best albums in
history. this is a perfect album.
