A message from Marco:
San Francisco is freezing, there is no place to sleep, there is nowhere to hide. All my hopes are gone. I think about all my friends, family and ancestors in West Africa, and especially my grandmother Mama Helene. She was always covering me and spoiling me since I was born. Now, it's time to leave, it's time to go back home with all my sadness. The little Mignane ('the one we expect to come') as she used to call me just failed on his journey in America.
I sit down with tears and start praying very hard to our spiritual protector. Suddenly, in the middle of nowhere, one very little tiny Baobab seed whispers in my ears, I take a big breath, close my eyes, and shout: 'Let's try one more time !'
Bissap Baobab was born 10 years ago in the midst of no more hopes, by a strange miracle that is still spreading its wonderful spiritual charm all around the Bay Area.
Thanks to all of you friends and supporters of the Baobab.
See you at the 10th Anniversary Celebration!
