(Friday, June 26th, 2009) On Friday Liz Mitchell contacted the Liz Mitchell Fanclub because she wanted to express her sadness about the tragic death of the King Of Pop, superstar Michael Jackson. To Liz Michael Jackson was more then a musical genius. He was really the first artist to become a superstar to all races in every country of the world.

Liz Mitchell met Michael Jackson around 1978 while he was still with the Jacksons. Liz remembers him as a very friendly and shy guy.
