This whole Wal-Mart deal   Message List

...so this is starting to bug me. I am not in the States so to a
certain extent this issue does not effect me personally in terms of
where I but the new record. However according to Jon's blog, 'The
Guardian' a left wing broadsheet newspaper in carrying an opinion piece
slagging off the band for having dealings with Wal-Mart. The piece
mainly attacks Wal-Mart for their employment practices and their
refusal to carry albums that might be considered offensive. Now I
would consider myself to be an 'ethical consumer' and therefore I would
not be buying this record in Wal-Mart if the above allegations are
true. The issue is do Ang and Mal know about these issues with Wal-Mart
or are they ignorant of the fact and Sony made the deal to increase
sales.....?

Really want the boys to be ignorant of the Wal-Mart deal.........
