I was watching an interview with composer Hans Zimmer on the
Gladiator DVD the other day and he mentioned Michael Brook.
Apparently Hans was dying to get Dadouk player Djivan Gasparyan to
perform on the soundtrack, but was having no luck as Mr. Gasparyan is
ever more reluctant to leave his native Armenia. Hans continued that
he was [I'm paraphrasing] "on the phone with my friend Michael Brook
who mentioned that Gasparyan was in L.A. and would I like to meet
with him..."

OK, so it's not major MB news, but it's something....
