I'm finishingtouches on an acoustic Baritone Rebec which is like a medieval
precendent for a viola and in a couple ofmouths I will purchase a stick or
an eight string warr Guitar.
I'm also looking forward to purchase a Moroccan acoustic Guembri.
a)What kind of rig i should use in terms of amplifers , preamplifers and
cabs? I'm caught between a power mixer and powered speakers, theRoland
Jc120 with a behringher mixer and the Rane ap 13, or the raneAp13 with a
trace elliot MWR300 bass combo.
b)what low price pickups should i use for both Acoustic instruments ?
c) Regarding the Bass Vi with a fretless neck, iwant to aproximatetehsound
towards Michael Brooks hollowed between the frets neck he uses along with
the infinite guitar. How do you rate teh changes I havemade totheBass VI
architecture? can i hollow out theneck?
d) anyone recommend any effects combinations and eq mixing between the 2
effect processors I'm trying to loop infinite delays here and ceate synth
liketextures with the LFo and wave signal splitting effects with
phaser,Chorus,flanger andharmonizer effects. regarding Loops andprocessing
them, a friend told me to look up the Kaoss pad mixer. he says Brian ENo
gives it great reviewsprice isn't bad.
