My friend from work just recently turned me on to Dylan. I was
totally blown away by "Blind Willie McTell." Such a haunting song.
Anyway, the only Dylan CD I own is "Blood on the Tracks," which I am
totally digging. The rest of my Dylan experiences have been from
radio airplay and mp3's here and there.
For me, Dylan is like my pipe. Relaxing, contemplative, involving,
simple and complex at the same time ... and I had to reach a level of
maturity before I could properly enjoy either of them. I was past 30
when I started smoking a pipe, and I was past 30 when I started to
understand what it is about Bob Dylan (don't ask me to explain it,
but I'm starting to understand).
So, help me out. Where should I go from Blood on the Tracks?
Jerry.
