Hi! I thought you all might like to read a couple of Bob Dylan fan
fiction stories I wrote. They were both inspired by being a HUGE fan
as well as to express it creatively. They are both rated G, nothing
offensive or weird in it (no sci-fi content or anything like that)
and are imaginative in a most respectable way.
The first is a rather emotionally-charged intro to Bob as a young
impressionable folksinger with three friend characters that are based
on actual associates of Bob from the early 1960's. It's the one
that's called "Inspiration For A Young Troubadour". Much of its
content revolves around Bob's talents as a songwriter and poet.
The second is the sequel to it, taking place in 1965, where the same
group of friends accompany him. Highlights of the story are the
parts where he comes in contact with Simon & Garfunkel in a Greenwich
Village coffeehouse (though not necessarily to represent the first
time they met in real life) and the adventurous side of him horseback
riding (okay, that's a throwback to MY fascination with the pasttime -
thus my Yahoo ID explained).
I will upload them in the Files sections here.
I hope you like them and your kind comments about them are most
welcome!
Carolyn
