~ It was GREAT> Bob and the Boys played for 3 minutes short of a
~solid 2 hours.
This is how it went.

Tulsa ~ Driller Stadium
The field was the place to be. If you had been in the stands; you
would have been very far away. And as the show neared an end I
thought to turn toward the stands and see how full they were. To me;
they were 2/thirds full. As was the entire outfield totally full.
It was a very large crowd for this night.

Green Card. The girl of the group when she constantly swayed and
rocked with their music; well that just made her look all that much
more prettier. Which is basically the high-lite of they're
performace.
'day was alright!.

Willie. I'd never seen Willie Live. OC> you see him all over TV
doing one song or another.
(Let me tell ya first, Crystal) didn't like it much. And she is a
big fan of his. But OC> he was dressed in his usually scroungy
hillbilly look, but/an, the rest of the bank looked as if they just
got out of bed and threw on whatever so they cold get down to the
chuck wagon and get some breakfast.

But I thought he did good(I've heard he'll sing worse than
bobonabadday. But he didn't do bad at all. People keep throwing
hats on stage and he would then throw his out to the crowd.
And ever though it wasn't his friggin hat and he'd only had it on for
5 minutes ....2 old men, one of them with a cane ended up fighting
over it tearing it up - spilling beer all ove me and C. in the
process.
(They went to the ground for 'dat puppy).

One curious thing though? When Willie's son on his electric 'geet/ He
was introduced and did a blues number totally on his own,, out front
so to speak,, he kinda crept up the the mic twice to sing momentarily
He seemed rather nervous.. and kinds scared like it was a new thing /
or almost new thing! And we he finished; Willie, the other guitar,
and the harp guy all gave him the nuckle/to nuckle ~ atta-boy Dude!
Salute and nod.
Do you think this was something ~almost for the first time?
? You don't give the 'atta-boy nuckle salute dude' for the kid, for
the 15th time he got up their and did a song... I wouldn't think.

Bob Dylan; anyone?
By the time Willie departed so did a few (a very few) fans with him.
And the day had started resting on blankets with Green Card. By now,
everone had pick up or discarded their blankies... Now the people a
few thousand thick were creeping closer and closer to the stage.

Luckily for me and C. for the first time ever I found the rail. With
C. right beside me things were groovin'. As far as being on the
rail? And as I've seen and as I'v have heard about... before..?
This was a very pleasent experience.

Security kept busting this girl right behind me for taking picture.
After deleting her pictures twice they took he memory card. All the
while piture-telephones were snapping and recording away.. Poor kid,,
She was kinda short,, I kept trying give her room to see.

Tombstone Blues and She Belongs To Me ~ were very nicely done with
Bob taking center stage to blow z harp. I was very pleased with them
and surprized happy to hear them both.
Tweedle Dum and Dee,, I think Bob really likes to sing this song..
Like it suits or fits his 'todays voice; and he can really belt it
out. It's poetic-ness and lyric expression / escapes me though.

Just Like A Woman. Again,, privilaged to be in this mans presence as
he performs. He is singing it very well and to the T. The crowd
joins in every time for ..justtttt like a woman.,
On this one Bob did his longest of the evening harp playing, from
behind the key board. It almost seemed like someone had missed a
cue, and they had to go completely around again; in fact it may have
been Bob, who missed his verse segment, so they went around a few
times and Tony and Kimball laughed a lot. and And Freeman walked in a
circle looking up in the air playing some real hooky scale .
And OC> Donnie the pedal steel guy looked like the most consumed man
on the planet... he wasn't and wouldn't take his eyes off Bob ~ all
evening.

High Water (For Charley P).
I could hardly recognize it. Only by process of elimination could I
determine what he was singing.. and it's a long song too. "I"
couldn't understand a word of it.

Most Likely You'll Go Your Way
It was fine. I used to years ago think that this was a very/ the
weakest song on B on B. But it's a very good song. And sung very
well tonight.

Blind Willie McTell. For me it truely an honor and a priviledge to
see and hear this one. Albeit,, both his recording of this song are
so loverly and powerful,, that this performence does not do the song
justice.

Honest With Me.
Besides, barely understanding the words..Honest With Me. I, more or
less could not understand a word he said.

My Back Pages This'n was very prettily done. And this is the
closest I've every been to watch Bob perform.. (He dress's in a very
heavy black cowboy suit,) and hat and he sweats big time. He wiping
his brow and his eyes, and sweat is dripping from his nose.
And I think,, ..Why does he do it?
Why does he do it?

Cold Irons Bound Not quite as 'erie a sound as in the past shows
but/ (it's a different sound to begin with for a Bob Song) but still
it was loud, it rocked the bleachers man! It's a very good wild and
rowdy tune.

Visions of Johanna. Extremely fine rendition. Bob sings clear,
fine, and happily. And out front with the harp again for the 8th
time. And then back to his key board to finish the song, with a
little more harp.

He, INTRODUCED THE BAND, at this point I think.

Highway 61 Revisited. About the main impression I get here is that
this song.. THEY'RE SAYING, Like a Rolling Stone is the greated
rock and roll song of all time. ??????
Well you know...mmmmmm Highway 61 Maybe this is: The greatest
Rock and Roll song EVER of all time!!!!!!!!!!!
It was ~Really moving man!!!

\(then and mini line-up / and applause)

Don't Think Twice It's Alright.
One of my first ever favorites of Bob Dylan.. It means so much to
me.. I felt lucky to have it. Lucky to get it and he did it justice/
he did it honest.

(abouthistiimeIwasthinking) If I get Like a Rolling Stone,, I'll get
the whole-Bob, tonight! But I got the very next best thing.
PERHAPS, which song which should be the #3
~~ best rock and roll song ever!

All Along The Watchtower.
A bluesy and happily performed / appearing pleased with the evening..
Having done a little shimming and shaking all evening and full of
smiles the ending of the night with this timeless athem. Perfect.

Then they went center stage and Bob sauntered up lastly; harp in
hand fiddling with it a bit as if it were only a prop. Or as if it
were only the key. They took a prolonged standing salute stance...
As the band tried to look basicly upwardly;
Bob seemed to
Try and look everything, and everbody over, a few times. Finally he
nodded in agreement. And Bob and the Boys filed off behind the
curtains.
And, called it a night.
