Bob Dylan is a side musician on this rare LP. He performs on
Harmonica. In 1961 when Hester was just signed to Columbia she met
young Bob Dylan in the clubs of Greenwhich Village and, impressed by
his harmonica style, asked if he would be a sideman on her debut
recording with Columbia. He agreed and she informed him she would
only have to clear it with her producer, John Hammond. It was at the
recording session that followed that John Hammond met Bob Dylan and
shortly there after offered him the record contract that would alter
the direction of modern music.
This is a demonstration pressing of the record that was born of that
fateful recording session for Columbia.
By the time this record was being previewed through Demos like this
Dylan was signed to Columbia and the rest is Rock N Roll. Well
Folk....than Rock N Roll....:)
