I have just tried sending an important message to the
former regional secretary of Manchester/Lancashire
Socialist Party, Morag Allen
<moragiallen@...>. Hotmail is controlled by
Microsoft and that is obviously why they didn't let
the message through.

There were only two regions of the Socialist Party in
England and Wales that supported the formation of the
setting up of the Scottish Socialist Party -
Manchester/Lancashire and Merseyside.

However, as would be expected due to the disastrous
decision to distribute redundancy notices to the
entire workforce by the Militant Tendency (as the
Socialist Party was formerly known), which was
obviously due to infiltration by conspiratorial
organisations on the side of big business into
Militant on Merseyside and at the centre in London,
the organisation in Merseyside was a joke. There is an
"international socialism discussion list" on
topica.com organised by Labors Militant Voice in the
United States, who had been expelled from Labor
Militant (linked to Militant in Britain by the CWI)
that I was on for a long time (then run by Richard
Mellor <aactivist@...> who I met on a trip to
Oakland when I helped Labor Militant on a
demonstration in San Francisco of about 30,000 people
against the first Gulf War) bringing together people
who were no longer in the CWI as well as some who
still were in it. A message appeared at one point
saying that there were some people in Merseyside on
the list and wondering why nobody had said anything.

If you are based in the UK, then it is best to use
yahoo.co.uk rather than yahoo.com (in case of
interception across the Atlantic). Yahoo.co.uk gives
you 250MB of free email storage. Since I don't delete
any of my emails and I quickly ran out, I paid £11.99
a year for more web space. At one point, Yahoo
announced that they were increasing the webspace a
hundredfold for no extra charge, so you now get 2GB if
you decide to pay!
