Exploring and performing early music is at the heart of what the Bryn Gwlad Early Music guild does. We’re based in Austin, Texas, and seek to enliven our SCA barony of Bryn Gwlad and kingdom of Ansteorra with our music. In the past year we’ve held classes on a range of early music topics, and held joint practice with our local dance guild. It’s been fun to grow together as musicians and enjoy the company of folks with a common passion for early music. We’d like to invite musicians of all levels to join our group discussions, to practice, and perhaps even perform with the group.
